While the COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily changed our daily lives, it hasn’t changed who we are.  We are still people who live, love, laugh, and grieve. We are pleased to announce that under the State of Illinois Phase 4 restrictions inside and in person visitations, gatherings, funerals and services are allowed.  We are following all the standard protocols; masks are required, and we want you to be physically distant but socially engaged.  We believe that creativity is key to create a meaningful life celebration during this unprecedented time.  For safety precautions our family lounge is temporarily closed, however our expert local caterers can provide individually wrapped food offerings along with cocktail services.  As this novel virus may have taken away handshakes and loving hugs, we will not let it rob us of our humanity.  Although these conditions are not ideal, Kolssak Funeral Home is uniquely positioned to offer full-service funerals at this time. During this time of disconnect, it is imperative to share your support at your loved one’s tribute wall, there you can share a memory, a story or even a picture.  Any act of kindness will be greatly appreciated.
